Nina, I’m glad you had a good birthday! I want to tell you that I am a new subscriber. I just discovered your YouTube channel and you have helped me so much that I joined the beauty breakfast club to support you ❤️! I’m about to turn 50 and have been doing bodybuilding for a few years and was spending a fortune on professional hair and makeup services at my shows. I decided to learn how to do my own makeup and finally feel like I have the skills, thanks to you! The biggest tip I learned from you was the importance of skin prep, and finally my makeup isn’t dry and creasy.

Also, all your recommendations on products that I have tried have been spot on! It’s nice to find someone you can trust to find the right products when there are so many to choose from.

I love how down to earth you are and really enjoy your content. THANK YOU!!

Nina: Is there anyway you can do a YouTube on a complete best mu look with sticks in a minimal make-up bag for vacation? Like I love the sticks of makeup by CT and Rhode and minimal take-up space. Esp. When charged extra $$ by airlines for baggage - this would be good for many women in states traveling TY!!!

Nina, I love that June was such a wonderful month for you! Reading your blog was exciting and inspiring, and I’m glad you had a wonderful birthday. I find it inspiring for two reasons: one, I don’t have your motivation to work as hard as you do, and two, I live in a very hot climate here in the US (Phoenix, Arizona) where our summer temperatures reach as high as 115 degrees, so unless you have to leave the house, everyone stays indoors in the air conditioning. Therefore, I get very little accomplished… lol. My favorite time of year is the holidays because the season is beautiful — full of lights, Christmas carols, holiday cheer, gifts, and shopping!

Anyway, getting back to your blog, I do love staycations in the spring when the weather is nice. They’re a lot of fun. The only difference between yours and mine is there’s no beach in my state, but we have a lot of fun at staycations hanging out by the pool, dinners, massages, etc.

About your wool rug — I’d be really upset if someone else’s dog peed on my rug, but you were so kind about it. I would’ve reacted the same way if it were a guest in my home, because I’m not one to complain about something like that. My little dog doesn’t go in the house either. She’s trained to go to the door when she needs to go out. Anyway, I have a new beauty crush as well that I’m over the moon about, and I’m so surprised about it too! It’s not something I would use in my day-to-day routine — maybe only occasionally — but it is the new YSL Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation. My shade is Light Neutral 1. I first tried it with the little puff it comes with and loved it, then I tried it with the BK Beauty 101 Brush, which is a dense brush, and I really loved that application. In my opinion, it’s just beautiful.

Lastly, I noticed you mentioned Dutton Ranch — OMG, also my favorite show! My favorite before that was Yellowstone. Did you ever watch that? That show was also out of this world! The Dutton Ranch finale is this Friday and I saw the trailer — it’s going to be so so good. I also read that season two has just been confirmed… YAYYYY!

Well, this is a long response to your blog, but I really had a lot to say. I’m glad I finally joined The Beauty Breakfast Club. Take care. ❤️
