My first memory of YSL beauty is the iconic Faux Lash Effect mascara. I remember it being one of the most expensive beauty products I bought at that time and it was a game changer for lashes! Since then, I’ve used several different YSL products but none have made me want to restock…except for these.
YSL All Hours Hyper Bronze - I’m loving this bronzer! The packaging is classic YSL with a nod to their Matelasse leather stitching. This bronzer is infused with skincare ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinimide for hydration. It’s highly pigmented so I usually dust off the bronzer from the brush before application. This leaves a soft matte finish with silky smooth application and won’t fade or dull later in the day.
YSL All Hours Concealer - This is a fluid concealer that claims to give full coverage and it does…with two layers. I love that I can build it up to get the full coverage effect so I think they should have labeled it as a medium to full coverage finish. It’s a minor complaint considering the coverage is amazing whether you want medium or full coverage. I love how it’s easy to blend into the skin and leaves a luminous matte finish. It doesn’t dry up too fast so you have plenty of time to blend, however once it does set, it stays on and stays looking fresh for hours and hours. It’s a 24hr longwear concealer and to be honest I don’t ever leave my makeup on for 24 hours so I can’t personally claim that this actually is the case. It also claims to be a creaseless concealer and I can vouch for this. Bear in mind that I set areas on my face that are prone to creasing very well so I don’t know if it’s down to my pro skills or the concealer but all I can say is that I’ve had zero issues with creasing.
I have tried YSL and I do like them. The mascara is quite good
