WELCOME TO 2026
I always feel like the new year creeps up on me, even when I know it’s coming. I’m pretty sure we all feel this way…you know when you get halfway through the year and you think how is it June already?! But this time, I’m going into the year feeling a lot clearer than I have in a long time. Not in a new year, new me kind of way, more like…I actually understand myself better. What I want, what I don’t want, what I’m willing to work for, and what I’m leaving behind. And I thought it would be nice to start 2026 together, the same way we’ve been going through everything else…beauty, wellness, growth, and all the in between bits that make life feel a little more real.
Beauty
If there’s one thing last year taught me, it’s that less really is more when it comes to makeup and skincare. I’ve slowed things down, simplified my routine, and I feel like my skin has responded so much better because of it. This year I want to focus on products that actually work with your skin, not against it. No more forcing trends or following routines designed for 20 year olds with poreless skin. This year is about healthy skin that looks like skin, choosing formulas that don’t fight texture, and keeping things simple enough to stay consistent.
Wellness
One of the biggest changes I made last year was learning how to slow down. I think a lot of us forget that rest is still progress. Rest is still part of the routine. I don’t want to live my life constantly running on empty or feeling guilty when I stop. This year, I’m making space for stillness…whether that’s journaling, staying off my phone in the mornings, or just giving myself a bit of grace on the days I’m not operating at 100%.
Fitness
I used to think working out had to be intense in order for it to count. But honestly, it’s the small, consistent effort that actually makes the difference. Even one set helps. Movement doesn’t need to be dramatic…it just needs to happen. This year for me is about training smart, protecting my back, building strength at a steady pace, and not feeling guilty when all I can manage is a walk. Progress is progress.
Mindset
Something I’ve been thinking about a lot is how easy it is to let other people’s opinions shape your direction. I’m not doing that anymore. I feel like 2025 made me a lot more sure of myself, what I’m capable of, what I want to build, and the type of people I want around me. This year, I want to stay in that energy. More confidence. More intention. More gratitude. Less noise, less comparison.
What I Want for You This Year
I hope 2026 is the year you stop talking yourself out of the things you want. The year you choose yourself, even in small ways. The year you do what feels right for you, even if people don’t understand it. The year you take care of your skin, your body, your mind, your space, your energy. You deserve a life that feels good….not one that just looks good.
A Little Note Before We Start the Year
Thank you for being here. For reading, for supporting, for caring enough to open these newsletters. I don’t take it for granted. And I hope this year feels lighter, clearer, and more aligned for all of us.
Here’s to a new year that feels like a breath of fresh air…not pressure. A year we actually enjoy. A year we grow through, not just go through. We’ve got this.
And I’m really looking forward to sharing 2026 with you.
How to Stay Consistent With Workouts When You’re Busy
People (including myself) always say the key to results is consistency, but no one talks about how hard consistency actually is. Life gets busy. Work piles up. You’re exhausted. And the gym becomes the first thing you drop…trust me, I’ve been there more times than I can count. If I didn’t have a full hour free, I’d decide there was no point going at all.
