I love a night-time beauty routine, and who doesn’t? Something about spending a decent 20-30 minutes on myself as if I’m my own dermatologist, just makes me feel so satisfied and fulfilled.
Recently, I’ve been using specific beauty tools every 2 weeks for my evening self-care skin routine and it’s been working wonders for my skin! I wake up with baby-soft skin that looks almost poreless and renewed. I want to add that I alternate between dermaplaning and microdermabrasion and never do these two on the same day.
This has become such a routine for me ever since I noticed how amazing my skin looked the next day! I actually can’t wait for you to try this out because it was pretty shocking when I saw how good my skin looked. You won’t see the results immediately, in fact, your skin will look a bit red immediately after some of the steps but keep the faith because you’ll wake up with the best skin ever!
What I want to add before you dive right into these newly found beauty tips of mine, is that you need to know what your skin can endure. If you have sensitive skin, then I would not recommend some of these tips. If your skin tends to react easily to treatments such as threading, waxing etc then it’s a sign this isn’t for you.
Sculptor - I have the Sculptor steel massage tool which I keep in the fridge. Don’t forget to use the code 'NINAUBHI’ for 50% discount!!! This is perfectly shaped so that your cheekbone fits into it when you glide it upwards. It’s a magic wand for cheekbones, a defined jawline and to de-puff eyes.
Dermaplaning - I do this at least every two weeks. This is where you use a facial blade to remove all the facial hair and dead skin. Some people do it to remove the hair and some do it because they want to remove the dead skin cells. I use the dermaplaning technique because I want to remove the build up of dead skin cells and considering I film so much which in turn means I apply makeup so much, it’s an amazing way to keep my skin clear. Check out the facial dermaplaning tool on MedSpa as it’s the best quality and you can also get your 50% discount there too here.
Tweezerman blackhead remover - This is amazing because you no longer have to ruin your skin trying to remove blackheads with your fingers! Sometimes it’s good to get those blackheads removed but you need to ensure you use the right tools to do so. This avoids scarring because you won’t be pinching the skin with fingernails.
Microdermabrasion - You literally don’t need to go to the salon ever. This has been amazing for my skin because it’s improved the texture and tone of my skin. My skin is more even and the texture is less visible. I use the Lancer device that also helps to allow your skin to absorb other products better. It’s great for loss of firmness and large pores so you can thank me later!
Thank you for the advice. I’ll give some of these a try. I’ve always said that I could use a steel wool pad on my face and it would be ok. So perhaps this is a better idea. lol
