The Sephora Savings Event: What I’m Actually Buying (and Why)
The Sephora Savings Event is finally here….and yes, everything is on sale. This is the time to stock up on products you already love, finally grab those wishlist items you’ve been eyeing, or test something new without feeling guilty about it.
Here’s how the event works:
All Sephora Collection: 30% off — 10/31–11/10
Rouge Members: 20% off — 10/31–11/10
VIBs: 15% off — 11/4–11/10
Insiders: 10% off — 11/4–11/10
If you’ve been waiting to refill your makeup bag, this is the time to do it. Here’s what I’m picking up, what I’m restocking, what I can’t live without, and what I’m genuinely curious to try.
1. ONE/SIZE Made for Shade Bronze & Sculpt Trio Palette
This palette is one of the best contour and bronzing products out there. The pigment is insane, so a little goes a long way. The tones are beautifully balanced, not too orange, not too muddy, which makes sculpting effortless. I love how it blends, it doesn’t drag or patch, just melts into the skin for that seamless definition.
I’m definitely restocking because it’s one of those products that instantly adds warmth and shape without looking harsh…plus it lasts for ages.
2. Beautyblender Sponge
You can’t go wrong with the OG. There are a lot of sponges out there, but nothing blends foundation, concealer, and cream blush like this one. I’m picking up a few fresh ones because honestly, they never last as long as I want them to.
It’s still one of the most foolproof tools for creating a skin like finish, and I use it for almost every part of my base routine, from applying foundation to blending under eye concealer and even bounching on cream blush.
3. Beautyblender Bounce Soft Focus Gemstone Setting Powder
This powder gives such a beautiful soft blur while still keeping the skin radiant. It’s that perfect ‘set without flattening’ formula. The texture is fine and smooth, and it doesn’t cling to texture or dryness, which makes it perfect for mature or combination skin.
It’s also one of those powders that makes your makeup look better throughout the day, not just right after you apply it. Definitely grabbing one.
4. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in ‘Worth’
I tried the sample size of this color recently, and I loved it. The shade Worth is such a natural, fresh tone, it gives that lifted flush that makes your whole face look alive.
The formula melts into the skin rather than sitting on top, and it lasts all day. You only need the tiniest drop, so one tube will last forever. I’m picking up the full size this time.
5. Laura Mercier Ultra Blur Setting Powder
One of the best powders for over 40s, it sets the skin beautifully without exaggerating texture or dryness. It blurs, smooths, and holds everything in place without that heavy baked look.
I’m running low on mine, so this is an easy restock.
6. Makeup by Mario Soft Sculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer
I haven’t tried this one yet, but it’s been on my list for months. The texture looks lightweight and natural, the kind of product that gives a soft, diffused warmth rather than harsh contour.
I love how Mario’s products usually work seamlessly with skin instead of sitting on top of it, so I’m really looking forward to testing this out and seeing how it layers with my usual base.
7. Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Concealer
I will always have this in my collection. The coverage, the finish, the way it lasts, it’s just one of those reliable concealers you can trust. It never looks heavy, it doesn’t crease, and it layers beautifully with other products.
It’s one of the few concealers that works for both under eyes and spot concealing, which makes it ideal for travel or everyday use. I can never have enough of this, so I’ll be grabbing one (or two).
8. Huda Beauty Easy Bake Setting Powder (Banana Bread)
This one’s an essential. I’m just restocking because it’s one of the best brightening powders for under the eyes and the T-zone. The finish is smooth and velvety, and it keeps makeup in place even on long, humid days.
It’s also surprisingly forgiving, it blurs fine lines rather than settling into them. Banana Bread is my perfect shade, and I always make sure to have a backup.
9. ONE/SIZE On ‘Til Dawn Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray
This one’s new for me. I’ve seen it everywhere online and I’m curious to see if it lives up to the hype. It’s meant to give that locked-in look while keeping skin smooth and softly blurred, almost like a soft matte filter.
If it performs as well as the brand claims, it could be a game changer for longer days or filming. I’m adding it to my cart to test it out.
10. Dior Forever Foundation
A long-time favorite. The finish is flawless, skin-like, and long wearing. It evens out tone without feeling heavy, and it holds up beautifully even in Dubai’s humidity.
This is one of those base products that just works, professional, natural, and reliable. I’ll be stocking up while it’s discounted because I always come back to this one.
The Sephora Savings Event is the best time of year to grab the things you actually use, not just new launches. My rule is simple….stock up on what you already love, and allow yourself one or two curious buys.
This list covers both. A mix of essentials, favorites I know perform, and a few I’m genuinely excited to try.
If you’re shopping this week, plan your list early because bestsellers sell out fast…and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Makeup That Looks Effortless, but Took a Genius to Create
This is one of those palettes that whispers and still gets all the attention. Makeup by Mario’s Ethereal Eyes: Nature is a limited edition, 12 shade neutral palette with four distinct finishes designed to layer…glossy shimmers, sueded satins, buttery mattes, and natural metallics. It gives a very sun-lit earthy tone feel that looks quietly expensive.
