Concealer creasing is one of the most common complaints I hear, and it’s also one of the most misunderstood makeup issues. Most people think it’s about finding a better concealer, when in reality, creasing is mostly always caused by how the concealer is applied, layered, and set…not the product itself.

I’ve used concealers at every price point, on every skin type, across all ages, and I can tell you that creasing shows up when the under-eye is overloaded, too slippery, or set incorrectly. Once you understand that, fixing it becomes pretty straightforward.

First, it’s important to you to understand that fine lines are normal. Your under-eye moves….because you blink, smile, squint, talk. The goal is not a frozen, unrealistic under-eye. The goal is to stop product collecting in lines, cracking, or looking heavy by midday.
