Let’s be honest, we all know we should be wearing SPF. The difficult part is knowing which ones blend in well, don’t leave white streaks, are not greasy and ultimately which are worth our money.
Having tried so many different SPF brands, I’ve put together a list of SPF products that haven’t dissapointed and left me wanting to repurchase. So here’s my no fuss list of worth the spend SPF products.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid Non-Perfumed Suncream SPF50+ 50ml - Firstly, this has great protection as it helps to protect skin against damage caused by UVA, UVB and ultra-long UVA rays. It’s sweat and sand-resistant which actually works by the way! It gives a lightweight veil on the skin with an invisible, non-greasy finish. This is great for sensitive skin types and the minimalist formula is ideal for daily use, whether worn alone or under makeup. One thing I noticed over a long period of use with this is that it lasts so well! Don’t be fooled by this small bottle - you get so many wears out of this little bottle of magic!
Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ - I use this one quite a lot as I love how it sits under makeup. It’s a ultra lightweight sunscreen with a non-sticky and serum-like texture. This feels breathable and leaves a slight dewy finish with no white cast. It’s also full of antioxidants and minerals and is 'Reef Safe', made without harmful ingredients that damage the marine ecosystem.
Fenty Beauty Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen with Niacinamide + Kalahari Melon - This is a great daily sunscreen and improves your skin over time too. It locks in hydration, fades dark spots (which I love!) and protects your skin. It smoothes the look of skin, sits great under makeup and brightens your skin over time.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 - This is an invisible, lighweight, unscented sunscreen that ticks every box! It’s water and sweat resistant for around 40 minutes and also helps to filter out blue light. I love how this sits under makeup, almost acting like a gripping primer. It’s a smooth, velvety gel like texture that leaves no white cast!
I have tried a few including Le Roche. But I have to say supergoop has been the best. I even tried True Botanical sunscreen and it still leave a bit of residue. I haven’t tried the Fenty yet. I like their stuff so I will give it a go. But I don’t think I’ll find anything replacing supergoop
I use the tinted Supergoop daily before my aqua aerobic workout. I use the Glow version as a primer when I apply makeup.
