Once you hit your 40s, skincare stops being about trends and starts being about what actually works. I’ve tested more products than I can count over the years…as a makeup artist, on camera, off camera, through hormonal shifts, texture changes, dryness, sensitivity, all of it. The products I’m sharing here aren’t new launches I tried once and forgot about. They’re tried, tested, worn consistently, and repurchased. These are the ones that genuinely support skin that’s changing, helping with tone, hydration, firmness, and overall glow…without overwhelming it.
This is great. However, being a novice I’m unsure which products I should use prior to makeup. Some are obvious as to when to use (cleanser, exfoliating, eye treatment). The ones I need help with are the serum and others like that.
