Is it just me, or is it really difficult to find a nude eyeshadow palette that consists of nudes and neutrals rather than pinks? I’m extremely grateful to receive PR packages from beauty brands to review. However, when I receive eyeshadow palettes that have the words ‘nude eyeshadow palette’ plastered all over them, I’m 9 times out of 10 deflated when I open them up. The reason for this is because I’m greeted by a beautiful selection of shades that are pink rather than actual nudes.
As I’m writing this, I’m wondering if I have a completely different understanding of what nudes should actually look like to most people. Maybe those pink nudes are actually nudes to a person with a paler complexion, but they certainly are not nudes for someone of my complexion. And if this is the case, then should we not have different categories of nudes tailored to different skin types?
So just in case you are of olive skin tone, tanned, or anything close to my skin tone, I have put together a short but precise list of nude eyeshadow palettes that will not disappoint you.
