The Best Makeup Products for a Natural, No-Makeup Look

I wanted this list to be purely about products that genuinely deliver a skin-like finish…not just light coverage, but that understated look where you can’t quite tell someone is wearing makeup, but you just know they look good. There are so many light coverage foundations out there, and I’ll for sure do a deeper breakdown of those soon. But for now, here are the products I reach for when I want effortless, natural, minimal makeup that still gives me polished skin.

Erborian CC Cream

This is the OG skin-like base. The finish is soft, blurred, and very natural…it melts into the skin rather than sitting on top of it. Coverage is light to medium and buildable, but still looks like skin. One of the reasons I love it is that it evens out tone without masking texture, so you still see your skin but just a more perfected version of it. It also has SPF, which makes it an easy everyday option when you want protection and coverage in the same step. Best application is with either your fingers - be prepared for this to look white when you first apply it but it changes to your skin tone! I also like applying this with a buffing brush - that keeps it seamless and sheer.
