My husband and I decided to do a Caribbean wedding since a lot of my family is from the Dominican Republic. I arrived a few days before the wedding and it’s tradition over there to have a godfather and godmother for the wedding. The godmother (bless her heart) helped immensely with everything. I just had to tell her the colors I wanted and she was on it. Unfortunately she also hired the make up artist. She must have been a newbie, because I had to go over her house to get the make up done for the photographs.
