Post-vacay skin
We’ve all heard of the post-vacay glow, but what about when your skin looks more like it’s been deprived of every bit of goodness it needs just to look acceptable?
I recently had my annual Ubhi family vacation, and as much as I had an amazing time and can’t wait for next year’s trip, it also heavily took its toll on my skin.
I was getting anywhere from 4 to 7 hours of sleep. Please don’t forget you’re talking to someone who intentionally gets eight hours of sleep at night. This isn’t about how many hours of sleep you should be getting in order for your skin to look great; this is more about what your skin and body are accustomed to in order to stay in shape.
As soon as we got back home from the vacation, I could see how awful my skin looked. It was dull, had several breakouts, and was badly taken care of. It looked as though it had been deprived of every nutrient-rich ingredient it required to even look like skin.
So this is where I started my skin detox. I’ll take you through exactly what I did and what I used to get my skin back to great condition.
