Never thought I'd like this genre of music, but it's my new chill list.
I’ll be honest, my all-time favorite has to be 90’s r'n'b; however, I like any kind of genre if I like the song, so I wouldn’t say I’m confined to one genre of music. If you’ve read my recent newsletter about how amazing the TV series Yellowstone is, then you’ll know what it’s about. This is where my new love of country music comes in.
Yes, you heard right. Country music. That’s how much Yellowstone influenced me, and yes, visiting a ranch is now on my bucket list.
As I sat and watched Yellowstone, I found myself shazaming the music and slowly started adding songs to my new playlist on Spotify. If you’re up for seeing if you like it, then let Lainey Wilson’s track ‘Watermelon Moonshine’ be your first experience. Lainey was actually one of the actors on Yellowstone, and I think you’re going to love her.
I don’t often get a chance to listen to music as much as I used to, as I’m just always busy with work. I usually listen to it while I’m researching or writing, such as right now. It’s probably the first genre that doesn’t distract me from what I’m doing while listening.

I wouldn't say I'm a country music person but when Carrie Underwood won American Idol kind of got into LeAnn Rimes and of course Taylor Swift! It's good driving music!
