I’ve only ever had one collaboration with Vogue Arabia and that was when my loyal, longstanding client: HH Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum was to be on the cover of Vogue and I did her makeup. That in itself was a huge dream come true…to have my work grace the cover of Vogue.
Being a pro makeup artist means that a lot of the time you’re behind the scenes and your face doesn’t get much air time when you’re doing editorials or covers. It’s generally the model or muse that gets to grace covers and inside magazine spreads.
Recently I was approached by the Vogue Arabia Beauty Editor as they had chosen 7 celebrated makeup artists to be part of a beauty spread showcasing not only our work but also us for their 7th Anniversary edition. This was a dream come true because I finally got to have a bit of air time too!
So I thought I’d share my little accomplishment with you all because it’s a pretty big deal to me! I picked my muse to create my interpretation of the Chanel SS24 runway look which focused on flushed rosy cheeks with a healthy glow. You can read the full article here.
I hope you love the result as much as I do!
This is a very exciting and least of all well deserved achievement for you. Congratulations to you and as always, you are the ultimate example of beauty. All the best❤️ go celebrate 🎉
