Love this. Am turning 50 in July and am embracing it. Never been bothered by age. It’s a blessing. I stay consistent with my skin care and had lip filler last year for the first time. Now I’m experimenting with colours I never would have on my lips. I always get my nails done and my hair coloured (the one downfall I think in aging is bloody grey hair) and I am far from glamorous as you are more likely to see me in jeans and trainers than dress but it’s what makes me feel comfortable And good. Not married and don’t have kids (which bothers other people more than it’s ever bothered me) and I’m living my best life! No, I’m not doing crazy things but just normal stuff like travelling with family or friends, meeting them for Lunch or dinner or a coffee. Just normal stuff really but I’m just loving life. I have put my boundaries in place with people and I’m at peace. It’s funny as I suppose when I was in my 30s I’d always be like I’m not gonna have Botox. I’m not gonna have filler but yeah, as time goes on it’s stuff I actually want and I’m not doing it for anyone I’m doing it for myself to make myself feel good. My motto now is enjoy life, You do you! Block out all the external noise and put yourself first. I suppose I spent far too long up to the age of 40 worrying about what people think and it’s an absolute waste of time. What people think of me is none of my business!!

Wow, okay that was long but yeah, I can definitely resonate with a lot of what you say Nina. I love watching your videos As they are to feel good factor

Honestly, I loved reading this! You sound so grounded and at peace with yourself, and that’s exactly what this stage of life should feel like. I relate so much to what you said about not caring what people think anymore, it really is such a turning point. Thank you for sharing this!

I saw agree with you. I turned 49 this year and the older you get the less you care. You focus on peace. I have my single friends and they love having their peace. I think this is probably the best thing about getting older. You chose your peace.

When you get to 80, you get that same feeling that things are changing again & that you have to readjust. It feels like it is timed & programmed because it is rather abrupt.

That’s such an interesting way to put it, and it actually makes a lot of sense! It really does feel like each stage comes with its own shift and adjustment...it’s a reminder that we’re always evolving.

I will turn 59 in September. I'm in the best phase of my life. I feel amazing, look amazing. I have more time for myself. Half of that is thanks to Nina, I learn how to use makeup for me not for the others. Thank you so much.

I am 45 and in the best place in my life. I am finally divorced and in a great relationship, have a great job and am physically in better shape and feeling better about myself than in years. I understand what you mean, though, it's so hard to believe that I am in my 40s. It feels like the 90s were yesterday.

I love this for you. It sounds like everything has come together in such a positive way, and I agree, it’s strange how quickly time passes, it really does feel like the 90s were yesterday. My favorite time!

I'm 46 and I am one to try ever trend. trying to make myself look more plumper etc. I am thinking of getting lip filler because of my aging my thin lips got really small and I can't wear lip liner or lipstick because of it. I really wish I didn't feel this way. I'm trying to change that. I loved your post

Glad you liked it! It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to fix things, especially with everything we see now. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to enhance something if it makes you feel good, but it’s also important that it comes from a place of confidence, not pressure!
