They’ll never say it outright (although, let’s be real, some do), but the energy is all over their content: the passive aggressive captions, the unnecessary disclaimers, the smug tone in try-on hauls where they preface a high street piece with something like, “This isn’t usually my style but…” as if they’re doing the brand a favor by wearing it for 30 seconds. It’s giving “I’m not like other girls,” but make it minimal and passive aggressive.
