I love a full glam look, but on some days, I need my makeup to work with me, not slow me down. And that means finding products that do more than just one thing. Ask any pro makeup artist and they’ll say the same thing: it’s in our dna to multi-task with makeup! Because without fail, every makeup artist has forgotten something in their kit on a booking.
So, if you’re into a low-effort routine that still makes you look put together, here are five ways to multi-task with your makeup…basically, get the most out of what you already own.
1. Lipstick as Blush (and Sometimes Eyeshadow)
One of my favorite makeup hacks ever. A creamy lipstick can double as a blush and even an eyeshadow, giving you a cohesive, effortless look in seconds. Just dab a little onto your cheeks, blend with your fingers, and if you’re feeling it, press a bit onto your eyelids for a soft monochromatic look.
Pro tip: Stick to pinks, peaches, or warm browns for the most natural, blended look. Matte and satin formulas work best..avoid anything too glossy or slippery.
